Is technology usefull in schools ..?

We all are aware about the increase of technology in schools for teaching and learning process. Let me take you’ll back to the old school days, where we all studied through chalk and talk method .
I happened to visit a school few days back, where I saw tremendous use of modern technology. I in person felt good and appreciate that students have access to various videos related to their concepts, animated explanation of a topic, reference material on goggle , use of I-pads for circle time etc.
Now a days modern teaching learning has made learning fun for students, it helps them to learn and understand the concept visually or by imagining.
As we know every coin has two sides. So even in the rush of use of technology , students might access to unwanted data or link or information which may lead them on wrong direction. We must draw some limitations for the use of technology or should take proper precautionary steps to avoid this mislead. Parents and teachers should reinforce on reading and creating their own reference material etc.
To conclude this ,would say that use of technology is helping students to learn independently but we should give equally importantance to the handout information available in library by reaching various reference material.
